On April 18, 2026 we’re gathering at Medgar Evers College for a Teacher-to-Teacher Showcase that centers classroom practice, honest reflection, and shared learning. This event stems from Summer Lab 2025, sponsored in part by the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) program. Over the past year, participating educators attended a three-day in-person lab, followed by virtual coaching and the implementation of inquiry-based, equity-centered units grounded in primary sources in the classroom. The showcase is a space for those teachers to talk openly about what they built, what shifted in their instruction, and what they saw in their students as a result.
